BAYmericano is a tool for organizing padel tournaments. We keep this simple: we collect only what the app needs to run your events, and we do not track you.
No cookies, no tracking
BAYmericano sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.
To keep you signed in to your squad, the app stores a session token in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). It stays on your device, is never used for tracking, and is removed when you switch or sign out of a squad.
What we store
The only data we hold is what you enter to run tournaments:
- A squad name and the password you set to protect it.
- Player names you add to your roster.
- Match scores and the standings calculated from them.
- Email addresses only if you or your players choose to add them (for example, when joining via an invite link).
Each player has a player page that anyone with its link can open, without a squad password. It shows the player's display name (first name and last initial), the squads they play in, and their results — never an email address — and it is kept out of search engines.
Third parties
A few infrastructure providers necessarily process your requests to deliver the app:
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces from Google's CDN, which receives your IP address when a font is loaded. Google states it does not use these requests for tracking or profiling.
- Cloudflare and our hosting provider process standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse.
Data retention & your choices
Your data stays until you delete it. You can remove players, delete tournaments, or ask us to delete a squad and everything in it. To request deletion or ask a question, contact privacy@baymericano.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
